At UNIRAZAK, we celebrate Mustafizur Rahman, fondly known as Mus among his peers — a student whose university journey was filled with energy, leadership, and perseverance. A graduate of the Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) with CPA Australia, Mus stood out not only for his academic achievements but also for his remarkable involvement in campus life.
From serving as Deputy President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) to leading the BRSBITE Student Society and UNIRAZAK Toastmasters Club, he embodied the spirit of a Razakian who learns, leads, and lives fully. His dedication, teamwork, and positive attitude earned him the Student Life Award, a reflection of his vibrant contribution to the UNIRAZAK community.
Receiving the Student Life Award is a proud and humbling moment for me. Alhamdulillah, my years at UNIRAZAK were some of the best times of my life — filled with fun, learning, and friendships that made every challenge worthwhile. This recognition represents all the laughter, teamwork, and effort that shaped my student experience.
What kept me going was my belief that university life is more than just classes and exams — it’s about creating memories and growing through them. I wanted to make the most out of every moment as a student, and I truly did. The people around me — my lecturers, friends, and fellow Razakians — kept me motivated to keep pushing forward and enjoy the journey as it came.

“I learned that real success isn’t
just about grades — it’s about the knowledge you keep,
the character you build, and the trust you place in Allah.”
My biggest challenge came during my final year when I had to complete my internship while sitting for my final CPA Australia paper in the same semester. It was tough juggling studies, work, and assignments at once, but I managed to break through with the help of my classmates and close friends.
Their support and shared struggles gave me the motivation I needed to keep going. We pushed each other through the hardest days, reminding ourselves that this was all part of the process. And Alhamdulillah, I passed my CPA on the first attempt. To me, “Breaking Through” means pushing beyond your limits — stepping out of your comfort zone and realising that every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
If I could sum up my journey, it would be about balance and gratitude. Balancing studies, leadership roles, and personal time wasn’t easy — but I learned that you can have fun while being responsible. I was lucky to be surrounded by great people, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Chong K-Rine, who guided me from my first year to my internship, and friends like Nik, Farra, Rida, and Fatin, who stood by me through every milestone.
Looking back, the memories of Razakians in 2023 will always stay with me — the teamwork, events, and shared laughter that made UNIRAZAK feel like home. My advice to current students is simple: “Don’t wait for it, walk to it.” Your breakthrough won’t come if you just wait around — take that step, keep moving, and trust that your moment will come. Razakians always shine, inside and out.
