Best Student Award Tun Razak Graduate School

Wan Norliza Binti Wan Bidin

Master of Business Administration

At UNIRAZAK, we proudly celebrate Wan Norliza binti Wan Bidin, a graduate of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme under the Tun Razak Graduate School (TRGS) — a Razakian who embodies transformation, leadership, and lifelong learning. With more than 15 years of experience as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE), Wan Norliza’s story is one of courage and reinvention.

Transitioning from a technical background to becoming the Founder and CEO of TIA ZALIKHA, a modern Muslimah lifestyle brand, she has redefined what it means to lead with purpose. Her achievement as the Best Student Award recipient reflects her unwavering dedication to excellence, balance, and empowerment — qualities that inspire both professionals and aspiring entrepreneurs alike.

How does it feel to receive this award, and what kept you going through your journey at UNIRAZAK?

Receiving the Best Student Award from TRGS is an incredible honour that symbolises years of discipline, consistency, and self-growth. It represents not only academic achievement but also the courage to pursue change.

My greatest motivation came from my family’s unwavering support and my desire to strengthen TIA ZALIKHA while contributing to the women’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. The MBA experience broadened my vision beyond engineering, allowing me to lead strategically and empower others with purpose.

“Courage is the bridge between who you were and
who you’re meant to become.”

What challenges did you face, and how did you manage to “Break Through”?

Balancing my roles as a mother, entrepreneur, and student was undoubtedly my biggest challenge. Running a growing business while maintaining academic excellence required structured time management, clarity, and perseverance. My engineering background helped me approach these challenges analytically — to plan, prioritise, and stay resilient.

“Breaking Through,” to me, means having the courage to evolve, to step out of comfort zones, and to trust that growth happens when we push ourselves beyond what we think is possible.

What memories or lessons will you carry forward, and what advice would you give to future Razakians?

I will always cherish UNIRAZAK’s collaborative and enriching environment, where academic theory meets real-world practice. Every lecturer, mentor, and classmate brought unique perspectives that expanded my strategic thinking and leadership skills. As I continue to expand TIA ZALIKHA and empower more women in the digital economy, this award reminds me to keep learning, adapting, and leading with heart.

To future Razakians — stay consistent, stay courageous, and stay curious. Every challenge you face is shaping you into the leader you’re meant to be. The breakthrough isn’t a moment; it’s a mindset.
